Joan Osborne的这张碟从来没有给我们任何喜欢他的乐迷带来失忘，作为Womanly Hips厂牌为她发放第一张专辑以来到今天的这张新作《Pretty Little Stranger》音乐理念一直在随着他的音乐空间而变化，听完《Pretty Little Stranger》这张专辑给人以一种全新的吸引力来唯持自已的音乐特色，而且专辑中透露了一些时尚的音乐理念和方式。

很多时候在欣赏Joan Osborne音乐就会联想起许多老一辈的歌手所带给我们的欢乐，Joan Osborne 的嗓音悠闲的情趣, 没有那股纵欲过度、自我毁灭的倾向。音乐处理的相当完整和可辈，音乐元素投入的比较新鲜，色彩比较浓厚，就看封面就想听专辑部的曲目。

整张专辑基本上保持着频繁的节奏，而且曲目水准也始终维持在较高的标准之上，虽然在上一张作品中口碑不是很高，而这张《Pretty Little Stranger》显然有收复失地的味道，有评价认为《Pretty Little Stranger》专辑已经使乐团到达了一个新的顶峰，这也许是因为作品的旋律感更强的缘故，不过以往随意调动节奏以制造峰回路转的作风这次却着实收敛了许多。
