　　负责为本片配乐和创作插曲的伦纳德．伯恩斯坦（Leonard Bernstein），自1957年至1970年担任纽约交响乐团首席指挥，不但创作过许多大型的交响乐，也为百老汇谱写过音乐剧《锦城春色》（On The Town）和《西区故事》，两剧都搬上了银幕，也都为他夺得了两座奥斯卡最佳配乐金像奖。本片的音乐突破了传统歌舞片的大片厂风格，灌注入现代年轻人热情狂放的时代特色，与舞蹈场面的结合尤其丝丝入扣。片中的多首插曲如“今夜”、“玛丽亚”等均旋律优美动听，使本片的原声带唱片曾雄崛最畅销电影原声带排行榜的冠军宝座数十年。[/center]
